This wiki exists to collect, preserve, and share practical knowledge about survival in all its forms—from wilderness and outdoor scenarios to urban emergencies, disasters, and situations where preparation and adaptability matter.

It is a community-built project. Anyone can contribute, edit, or improve articles, which means the wiki benefits from a wide range of perspectives, experiences, and ideas. Some contributors are highly experienced; others are learning as they go. That diversity is a strength—but it also means that not every technique or recommendation represents best practice or professional advice. Our goal is not to present a single “correct” way to survive, but to document methods, principles, and lessons that people have used, debated, refined, or learned from—both successes and failures included. Survival is context-dependent. What works in one environment, culture, or situation may not work in another. Readers are encouraged to think critically, cross-check information, adapt techniques to their own circumstances, and prioritize safety at all times.

This wiki is continuously evolving. Articles may change, improve, or be corrected as new information becomes available or as contributors share better approaches. If you see something that can be improved, you are invited to help make it better.

Whether you’re here to learn, to prepare, or to contribute your own knowledge—welcome.
